All I Eat Food!

Right after work I hopped right over to Target and picked up some last minute items for our trip!  I really need to just go on this vacation because I keep buying things for it.

Tonight I met up with Julie!  She is one of my good friends from college.  We also studied abroad together.

Tonight we decided to go to the Couch Tomato, which is a BYOB pizza cafe.  Isn’t that name so cute?  They have so many great options such as gourmet pizza, daily made soups, create your own salads and wraps and more!  I like it because it is a casual atmosphere and excellent, fresh food.

I love their pizza and that they always have random slices already made.

I chose the chicken parmesan sliceand a create your own salad!

In my salad: field greens, red onions, chick peas, goat cheese, roasted red pepper, corn and portabella mushrooms. Dressing on the sizzide.

And a homemade wheat roll.  I tried not to eat it but it somehow made it in my mouth.

Julie had a slice of buffalo chicken pizza and cold cucumber soup.  I tried  some of her soup and she described it well!  It tasted like a cucumber salad in soup form

So afterwards we were going to get mani/pedis at our favorite place.  We walked in like we always do and they asked if we had made a reservation.  I never have there before so I said no.  And they were overbooked already   Big bummer!  I really wanted my nails to look pretty before our trip but oh well.

Oh and I forgot to mention that I went to the dentist this morning.  It was a new office so I was a little nervous.  But everything went well and the best news is that they are going to fix my tooth!!  My one front tooth is longer than the other and it bugs the crap out of me.  So in August they are going to make them even and I can’t wait

My mind keeps running all day with all of the things I have to do later today!

-make meals for tomorrow

-more packing!

Lunch is a little recreation of last nights dinner but with a twist!

I thought of this last night and I love them! I call them pepper rolls! What I did was use the grilled chicken and spinach and placed them on the pepper and then rolled it up and put a tooth pick through to hold it all together.  I thought it kinda looks like sushi! And just think of all the possibilities!

Also had some salad from last night with some grilled chicken on top.  And some cucs on the side for some crunch!

A nice, light, summery lunch!

This evening I’m getting my nails did with my good friend Julie!  Can’t wait for a little pampering and catching up

Only two days until vaca!!

It may be an odd combo but it works for me! Chobani plain yogurt, banana, blueberries, peaches and fruit loops!

So maybe fruit loops aren’t the most healthy topping but I only added a few.
