Celebrate Good Times.

This past weekend my grandparents celebrated their 60th anniversary!
Then Jay and I ran 7 miles in 1 hour and 6 minutes!! I was proud of us :D Especially because we ran in the rain.
This evening we celebrated my sister and her husband coming home from Hawaii on their honeymoon and my Dad’s early birthday.
I had a small glass of wine.
Chicken parm, a mixed salad and green beans.
My brother is also leaving for college tomorrow!
I will miss him and his goofy self!
Tonight I rested after my run yesterday and it felt good.  Now I’m going to watch True Blood!  I haven’t ever seen an episode, I’m excited!

Le Whif

Ok, so this product is super fun and not to be taken too seriously.
I found Le Whif while reading the Food Network Magazine.
Yes, you can inhale your chocolate.  Read about it here!
After reading about Le Whif I had to order it.  It is literally like an inhaler that you open, place between your lips and take a breath.  I would recommend not breathing too deeply because it may irritate your throat.  All that it really is is chocolate powder in a little tube.
Flavors include chocolate, chocolate mint, raspberry chocolate and coffee.
This is obviously not a real substitute for chocolate, and I don’t think I’d buy more but it was fun trying it out :D

Lunch time.

Today’s lunch is yesterday’s leftovers!  It was my grandparent’s 60th anniversary celebration yesterday so we have lots of good food hangin’ around!
Caprese salad.
Leafy greens with goat cheese, walnuts and orange slices.
Turkey sandwich slice.
There was so much delicious food! I will have to show my pictures of everything tonight!
My sister comes home from her honeymoon today!

Another Monday

Lately I’ve been obsessed with Arnold flats with cream cheese.
So stinkin’ simple but so satisfying.  I try to avoid eating bagels and I actually think these compare to eating one!
Hope my Monday morning blues wear off!
