Smores Smoothie

Happy Friday! I’m sure you’ve noticed that my posts have been lacking lately. But I promise there is a good reason why! I was recently promoted and while I’d love to tell you the details I am going to keep it confidential. I will tell you that I am training to become a restaurant manager and I am beyond excited. If you must know the dets just email me and we can chat.
Because I’ve been busy training and traveling it has been hard to write posts. Of course I am going to continue writing, even if my posts may not be as frequent. You can bet that I will still be cooking and eating! Thank you all for supporting me and understanding my new adventure.
This fall I’ve been craving smores.
Ooey gooey marshmallow, melty chocolate and crisp graham cracker.
While I used to think that smores were a summer-only indulgence, nothing says fall more than campfires. But one issue I’ve run into is that there isn’t always a fire available.
Not to worry, I came up with the perfect solution…
Smores Smoothie
Yields: 1 smoothie
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup ice cubes
1 tbs Hershey’s syrup
2 graham crackers (1 full sheet)
Garnish:
1/4 cup fluff
1/2 graham cracker
1.) Combine all smoothie ingredients in a blender until smooth.
2.) Top with fluff and graham cracker.
Suggestions: You could also try toasting the fluff if you have a kitchen torch for that toasty taste and look. And if you want to make it a more “adult” beverage, try adding some Bailey’s or Godiva liquor!
The best part about this smoothie is that you can enjoy it indoors, even as it starts to get a little chilly outside. And anytime you are craving a piece of campfire fun, just whip this recipe up and you will be instantly happy!
And trust me, you’re gonna want some more
